Hello, I am Graham Kershaw, a PIL volunteer.

I run Barrier Breakers, a small social and hobby group, every Tuesday afternoon from 14:30. Venues for this group include library computers and visits to ‘Frost’, a centre in St Budeaux with expert I.T. Support.

Barrier Breakers plan their own timetable each month, which can include short outings.

On Thursday morning, the group also meets at the PIL office.

I was born in Devonport and have a disability resulting from an operation to remove a large neuro tumor.

I also have a BA Honors in Education and Training, which is put to use at PIL through the design of an Independent Living Course, that I also help to run.

I have worked with people with learning disability in council centres from 1991 and at PIL since 1998
